Would you like to help me decide the price of my new wine? It's called BATAVIA - The first Cape blend for BLANKbottle. (A Cape Blend is a Bordeaux style blend that consists of at least 20% Pinotage) This specific wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet franc and Pinotage.
If you see yourself as somewhat of a BLANKbottle fan, I'd appreciate your opinion of and pricing suggestion for BATAVIA. The first time I did this was with the "Moment of Silence 2007". I then only selected the first 20 clients who replied, but this time round (as I did with "EYE OF THE STORM 2007") it's open to everyone who's bought wine from me before. Reply to this mail with your delivery details and I'll deliver a case of wine to your house, at no immediate cost. You then have until 16 November 2009 to assess the wine, decide what you think the wine is worth in terms of BLANKbottle's unique pricing proposition and pay me exactly that (as well as standard delivery fees). Please note that this is not free wine, it's merely shopping with a difference! (please see below for conditions and procedure)
Based on your feedback, I will then determine the price I will sell the rest for.
Of course I have in mind what I think it's worth and what it should sell for, so let's see if this exercise turns out favourable for me! Hope you're up for the challenge.
*PROCEDURE & CONDITIONS:
1. Only clients who've bought from BLANKbottle in the past qualify to take part.
2. Email/phone me with your delivery details and telephone number.
3. Please respect the intention of the exercise - this is not a means of acquiring cheap wine for weddings, funerals or parties! (Rather don't ask...) I will therefore have the final say in who gets selected to take part and send each one a case of wine on consignment.
4. Enjoy the wine and decide what you think it's worth.
5. Pay me what you decide the wine is worth plus the delivery fee.
