Most of my week last week was taken up by ADMIN - a lot of payments had to be done after my 3 bottling sessions the month before.
The Big Blend for the Famous Ones went through the Quality Control panel last week. A lot of tasting sessions... Everyone was extremely satisfied. Unfortunately I cannot tell you more about the wine right now. We will release it in September and I will reveal more about it closer to the time. A VERY EXCITING wine!
I am in the planning phase for 5 new wines for BLANKbottle. I made up trail blends from barrel on Thursday and took the wines in for microbiological analysis. The guy in charge is South Africa’s best and most experienced Oenologist (wine guy).
On Friday I spent most of my day at the Cape Grace with “The dangerous one”..... You will get to know him well as we go along.
NEXT week Wednesday I will reveal the blending components for “The Spaniard”....... Enjoy the weekend.
